1. A private address
Every family gets an unguessable address like rivera-k7mq9wxt@in.homeroomcal.com. Forward one message, or set Gmail to forward automatically. We catch Gmail’s confirmation link and show it to you.
For parents. Not another parent portal.
Forward newsletters, flyer photos, and PDF permission slips to a private family address. HomeroomCal reads them and keeps the date, the time, which kid, the place, what’s due, and what it costs.
Start the 14-day trial See how forwarding works
Then $6 a month or $59 a year. Cancel in the billing portal. Adults 18+ only.
Each item links back to the email it came from. You confirm anything the reader isn’t sure about.
Three steps
Every family gets an unguessable address like rivera-k7mq9wxt@in.homeroomcal.com. Forward one message, or set Gmail to forward automatically. We catch Gmail’s confirmation link and show it to you.
Clear items land on the calendar. Fuzzy ones — “tomorrow,” a blurry flyer — wait for you. Edit the date, the kid, or the amount, or dismiss it.
A morning email at the time you pick (6:30am Chicago time unless you change it) covers today, the next 7 days, and what’s due. Subscribe in Google, Apple, or Outlook. Share a read-only link with a co-parent or a grandparent, filtered by kid.
What it pulls out
Picture day, the concert, practice, the book fair. Date, time, place, and which kid when the email says so.
Permission slips, audition forms, reading logs. The due date is the thing you came for.
The amount, the due date, and the pay link when the school included one.
Weather days, teacher workdays, spring break, the 12:45 release. They show up as their own kind, not as a vague “event.”
Privacy
Forwarding only. There is no Gmail or Outlook login. Mail arrives because you sent it.
No training. Your mail is not used to train HomeroomCal, and we don’t run ads.
Short memory for the raw mail. The original message and files are deleted after 30 days. The calendar items you kept stay until you delete them.
One click deletes the rest. Kids are stored as a first name or nickname. No child accounts. The service is for adults.
Made by a Missouri dad and veteran, for the folder of school email that used to live in his own inbox.
